TheGeekChronicles is an open access peer reviewed publisher of Medicine and Healthcare, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Environmental Science, Psychology and Behavioural Sciences, Education and Pedagogy, Business and Management, Materials Science and Engineering, Social Sciences and Humanities. It is the strategy of TGC not to appeal for contributions for its operations as grants occasionally fail obliging the association to its discontinued operations. In direction to deliver the standard and quality work to the society we have preferred the model of autonomy through collecting article processing charges for articles published from the author. Authors are requested to make the payment once an article has been reviewed and accepted for publication by an editor.

TGC is a self-reliant organization and does not receive any funding neither from the government nor the private sector. Hence, the management of the journal is exclusively supported by the Article processing fees received from authors. We ask that authors, institutions and funding agencies pay the article processing charges to facilitate our publication process. Our article processing charges are quite flexible compared to many other emerging publishers and we provide a wide range of offers to authors from middle and low-income countries. Authors will be sent an invoice along with the galley proof of the accepted article. Authors can pay the processing charge through the online payment portal by using a credit card or they can transfer the APC to the publisher’s account furnished in an invoice. As an open access publishers TGC do not charge authors for Manuscript submission fee and we only charge authors for  Article processing.

TheGeekChronicles is committed to maintaining the publication ethics while providing high-quality publications. We expect our authors/users to comply with best practices in publication ethics as well as in the quality of their articles. Manuscript withdrawal is a common procedure in publication for various genuine reasons however recently it’s being misused by the author for unethical withdrawal. Many such instances exist where author send unethical withdraw request which results in wastage of precious resources, including editors, reviewers, and the editorial staff. So such charges should be bearable by the author.

TGC will not offer refunds for Open Access once articles have been published/ withdrawn.
