Syed Imran Gilani

Dr. Syed Imran Gilani graduated in 2001 with a bachelor's in dental surgery. He started his teaching career in Karachi as a Deminsrartor at a premium private dental teaching hospital. He was selected for the Linease-Palme scholarship teachers exchange program to Karolinska Institutet Stockholm, Sweden. He came back and completed his degree in Master in Public Health and began teaching as Senior Lecturer. He later successfully completed another Degree in Master in Health Research. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community and Preventive Dentistry, Gandhara University, Peshawar. Apart from the teaching, he has been extensively involved in research activities and has more than 20 research publications in both local and international journals. He has also participated and presented original articles at both national and international conferences. He is currently serving as Associate Editor JGMDS and two of its sister journals.
